Why do you need a netbook?
Nowadays manufacturers offer a great deal of netbooks.  A mini-computer can be a necessary device during your journey, classes, and other moments.
The main benefits of a netbook are its light weight, high level of portability and capacity. You should understand that netbook isn’t adjusted to editing video or gaming. Because of the small screen resolution it may be too uncomfortable.
Firstly having a mini-laptop you will be able to have a permanent Internet access. Secondly, you can use this small machine on the go, staying at the doctor’s office. In other words you can use it anytime you need a laptop but don’t want to carry 10 pound laptop in mountaineering backpack.
The main features to pay attention to.
A perfect netbook possesses the following specifications and features:
1. User Interface:
Choose what do you want to use: Windows or Linux? Note: XP mini computers take more time to boot that is why you should know how much space your XP takes on the hard drive. Linux is going to be much faster. When decide to buy the small PC try to exclude any limitations. Make sure that you have good network connectivity. Wi Fi N, WiMax, 3G, Bloototh may become a good bonus.
2. Design:
There exist very light models (less than two pounds) and the heavier ones that can weigh up to 4 pounds. Focus your attention on the width and depth of the netbook. Don’t forget about keyboard. Modern mini-computers have keyboards that are up to 95% the size of a basic laptop keyboard. Key size and spacing should suite your fingers. There can be different amount of USB and Firewire ports. The current generation netbooks have 1VGA out, 3 USB ports, mic and headphone ports, CD card readers.
3. Battery life/Memory
Netbook should have enough battery life. It will make your job easier. You don’t have to suffer from limitations while surfing in Internet, editing documents, checking emails and doing other regular things on your mini-PC. A netbook must provide with at least two hours of playtime before recharging.
For basic tasks you need at least 512MB of RAM; however 1GB or more will be definitely better. A hard drive has to be solid with lower failure rates than standard drives (PATA, SATA).

Here we collected for you the most popular netbooks and provided with a detailed description. Choose the one that will perfectly meet your needs.
