MacBook is Intel based computer having standard internal and familiar design sense. Apple is known to produce systems that run OS X that can be little rough on upgrade obsessed. This system was launched with Core i5 and Core i7 chips fueled with saliva.
The look and feel of the MacBook remains unchanged from outside with sealed in battery and Express Card for SD card swap. Apple is still considered to the class in looks with its understated aluminum design and glass design that will never go out of the style. Still there are some gripes about the designs of the Apple. The sharp aluminum edges can be classy but they can cut into the wrists which can be its disadvantage. The USB ports are too close to the left side which can be frustrating at time. There are two USB ports in the system and there can be obstruction to the one when inserting USB in the other port. It might be good to use HDMI port but it is not.
The bottom plate was used as the secondary heat sink in the previous generations of MacBook that can heat our lap a lot. The situation has improved in the new version of the Apple although it can still get uncomfortable temperatures at time. There is no fan noise which is good but laptop can get heated on top as well so it will be good for fan to kick into the gear in this condition.
Keyboard, touchpad and screen
There are no so many changes in the keyboard in this version. Inertial scrolling is new feature included in the touchpad which is quite similar to iPhone motion. There is easy motion provided with free spinning scroll wheel. It has comfortable, intuitive and helpful touchpad. It is the only software change in the model according to Apple. It has new high resolution display with 1680 x 1050 resolutions instead of 1440 x 900 resolutions. The panel’s quality is also excellent. There is great color quality and viewing angle provided in the system screen.
Performance, graphics and battery life
There is new Core processor used in the new version of Apple with Turbo boost tech. the extra cores can be switched by the Turbo Boost in order to provide room for the overclocking of remaining cores. We are testing out the top machine 2.66GHz Core i7 with NVIDIA GeForce, 4GB RAM, 512MB Graphics and 500GB hard drive.
You can carry on applications like watching videos, edit pictures, and other basic information without any problem with the help of Core i7. The applications can be launched faster. This machine is very strong on running single Flash which means that you can have smooth view of many videos.
