According to the statistics the most common met problems with laptops are connected with the hard disk, display and the keyboard. In matter of fact, the display is something that no one of us will try to change alone, but nearly every user has tools which to use easily to change some parts of the laptop as memory, hard disk or even the key board.
It is nuisance that more of the OEM machines if they are opened, will loose their guarantee. But if the laptop is out of guarantee, you can refresh the RAM memory without taking the laptop to a service or to a mechanic.

In case your system is still in guarantee, it is better to visit mechanic, who can upgrade your laptop, although upgrading is not that big deal. But if you have experience with assembling desktop computers, you probably know that sometimes a rough force is needed as when incorporating the cooler for the processor or when you are mounting the DIMM modules of the operative memory.

As laptops are more delicate than the desktop computers, listen to the advice to never  use force. If it is not fitting, just check if there is not problem with a cable. Otherwise you risk the tension to break down the chassis of the plate and you will “kill” your laptop immediately. The screw driver can make big trouble if it is smaller or bigger. One slipping can scratch of break the plate.

And before making any upgrades or repair on your laptop, always be sure that the power is off and the battery is taken out the laptop. The static electricity must be taken out with the use of antistatic bracelet.

The parts that can be easily changed and which are more often changed are:
-the hard disk, which change is not more different than the change of hard disk of desktop computer
-installing additional operative memory, where it is important to check if the slots for memory are two or it is only one
-changing the keyboard
-useful additional “things”

If you have done all those things for renewing your laptop, it means you are in love of your laptop or it is doing perfect work for your needs. So keep it in the same good condition with:
-acclimatizing when moving from hot to cold place or the contrary
- Always use it on hard surface for escaping from heating problems
-buy to your laptop a “cloth” that should protect it from breaking, scratching and etc.
